The whole traditional apple thing will be a really useful  (outing ) for  those with dementia and carers. Access to the village hall is good, heritage centre ok (not perfect but ok)  and  to the orchard ok’ish and ok for wheelchairs if it is not wet and soggy AND the Lunches and teas will be delicious……! All in all a win win situation.. NB afternoons are always quieter in the village hall so if people want a quieter time head for the Teas in the hall  (perhaps do the orchard first) etc.etc..
